Our women’s first team hosts Crewe Alexandra Women FC on Sunday, following two consecutive away games, with the Shakers looking to claim the home advantage after losses against Mancunian Unity Women First and Tranmere Rovers Women. Crewe Alexandra currently sit 7th in the table, one place behind Bury. Next up the Shakers head to Tameside Stadium to take on Curzon Ashton in the North West Womens Regional League. Curzon Ashton sit comfortably at third in the Premier Division, four positions above Bury. The two teams previously came head to head in September for the Adobe Women’s FA Cup, which saw Curzon secure a 0-5 victory at Gigg Lane. The home side has currently won four games out of eight played in the league, with three drawn and one loss against Mancunian Unity.

Next up the Shakers host Curzon Ashton in the reverse fixture, following a successful feat for Ashton at their home ground last week. The Shakers host Darwen FC Women on Sunday, in what is set to be a challenging match on home turf. Darwen currently sit first in the Premier Division of the North West Women’s Regional Football League, with Bury sitting tenth. Darwen have won eight of their ten league games this season, suffering defeat to only Fleetwood Town (3-1) and Trammere Rovers (2-3).
