Bury Football Club wishes to condemn some of the supporter behaviour at our Play-Off Final at Ericstan Park on Saturday afternoon. We are a community club, and some of the scenes experienced in both the stands and again unfortunately on the pitch, are not acceptable. We can confirm that the FA have agreed to a stay of the sanction requiring us to close Gigg Lane to supporters whilst the appeal is heard. There will be no sanctions until the appeal process concludes. This means that our game against Wythenshawe will be open for supporters of both sides to attend. We wish to provide an update and inform all supporters following a review of volunteering practices within the club this week. Brand new for the 2024/25 season is our Legends Wall, on the walkway between the South Stand and Manchester Road End, but first, we need your help. We have 60 spaces to fill with posters of Bury Legends from years gone by. Recently we installed, two posters at the ground with the club crest and a ‘Welcome to Gigg Lane’ message.
