Our game with Padiham has now been arranged for this coming Tuesday evening, 16th April with a 7.45pm kick-off. This time with a change of venue. Our friends at FC United of Manchester have offered their Broadhurst Park ground for the night, with the pitch at Gigg Lane currently unplayable following today’s postponement. With all fixtures to be completed by Saturday 20th April, and with risk of a further weather related postponement on Tuesday, the club sourced alternative arrangements

Bury FC have made a shaking appearance in England’s oldest footballing competition, with the First Round Proper just one successful game away, writes Lily-Mae Cooper.   A strong start for the Shakers entering in the Extra Preliminary Round on the 3rd of August with a 4-2 win against a predicted cohesive, strong Congleton Town. Tom Moore has been confirmed as the new club captain of Bury Football Club. Manager Dave McNabb hosted a vote amongst the players and staff, to choose the new captain with Tom selected to lead the team in this new era.
