Over the Christmas break, Bury FC proudly ran a Holiday Club in partnership with the holiday activities and food programme (HAF). A fantastic few days filled with football, fun activities, and nutritious meals, supporting local children and families during the holidays. On Boxing Day, the club is hosting a charitable fundraising event, which will benefit Bury Hospice and the North West Air Ambulance this year. These vital organisations rely heavily on charitable donations, with Bury Hospice requiring approximately £6.5 million annually to operate, and the Air Ambulance needing around £18 million. Despite another great result on the road this weekend, it was not without problems. Particularly those of anti-social behaviour which the club take very seriously and which all of us need to tackle to make the environment on matchdays welcoming for all. Any observations of disorder of any kind are reported to the league and to the County FA. As we fly through the off season, our colleagues at NYCDA have been out and about once more to visit recent Treasureline supporting winners. These are always nice events to showcase what we do, as well as finding out more about them and their connection to Bury FC and the town in general.
