This weekend our fixtures will celebrate women in football, and in sport in general, as we endorse the ‘Her Game Too‘ message. The club is affiliated with the #HerGameToo movement, an organisation founded in May 2021 with the aim of raising awareness and educating others on the importance of inclusivity and diversity in sports. We are proud to be one of hundreds of clubs, in both the professional and semi-professional/grassroots settings, to be affiliated in the UK. Whilst starting within fo

The club are delighted to confirm our second summer signing of defender Gareth Peet. The 33-year-old joins the club after leaving Atherton Collieries in May, for which he is the record appearance holder at the club. Rita individually hand paints every hat and makes them whilst her son Tom is having respite care. The venture helps Rita financially and mentally, giving her a break to tap into her creative side. Inspired by a passion for the Manchester Indie scene the hats are a nod to the Stone Roses. We have commissioned a limited amount of these hats and the

We, as a club, understand what Morecambe fans have been going through. When it happened to us, we each processed the situation differently, but ultimately it had a huge impact on us both emotionally and as a club. Thankfully, we are now in a much stronger place, and we’re delighted to see that Morecambe’s struggles have been eased with the takeover by their new owners, Panjab Warriors. In 2019, after Bury FC’s expulsion, we received a great deal of support and advice from across the football
