This afternoon’s Women’s FA Cup Second Qualifying Round tie against Radcliffe has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. The amount of rain sustained in the last few days has resulted in a large amount of standing water in key areas of the playing surface (as pictured right). We are pleased to confirm after an initial inspection this morning, the pitch has been passed fit to play for this afternoon’s visit of Glossop North End. Their remain areas that are softer than others, with patches of standing water still present despite the pitch being covered. Ground staff will continue to work on these areas up to kick off.
