Bury Football Club sadly lost another long-serving player recently on 19th June when central-defender Harry Bunner passed away at the age of 87. Harry joined the Shakers from Bury Amateurs in April 1957 and went on to appear in 105 league games for the club over the next eight years. These appearances included seven games in Bury’s Division Three Championship season of 1960/61 before he finally moved on to Stockport County in August 1965.
