We welcome FC Isle of Man to Gigg Lane on Tuesday night, after the original fixture was postponed from January 11th as a result of the big freeze. With six games in hand we moved to nine points off the top of the league with a 2-0 win against Pilkington today. Last weekend, the team were victorious with a 4-1 win over local rivals Rochdale to progress to the semi-finals of the Manchester FA Women’s Challenge Cup. We head into the FA Cup once again this weekend as we face NPL East side Garforth Town in the First Qualifying Round. Dave McNabb’s side come into the game off the back of Bank Holiday Monday’s 3-0 win against Cheadle Town. Alex Cherera picked up a brace and Ruben Jerome also bagged a goal.
