    Yesterday afternoon, members of our Men’s First Team, Women’s First Team and members of staff visited Fairfield General Hospital to spread some festive joy around the wards. Players handed out selection boxes and match tickets to patients & staff across several wards. Nicky Adams, Lewis Earl, Bobby Carroll, Bryan Ly, Brad Carroll, and Alik Babayan represented the Men’s first team, while Lily Metcalf and Sinead Nugent represented our Women’s first team, alongside Community Officer

    Ahead of tonight’s game away at Abbey Hey, Dave McNabb has issued the following update on a number of players: Brad Carroll We’ve been dealt some bad news in the last week with the scan results coming back on Brad knee injury confirming that he has a full rupture of his PCL and is likely to be out for up to 6 months. Brad has been brilliant since he came to the club, fantastic performances on the pitch and a player who is highly respected and well thought of in the changing room.

    Dave McNabb has offered a status update on the players currently on the injured list at Gigg Lane below ahead of this weekend’s FA Cup tie with Garforth Town.   Macauley Wilson – Macauley limped out of Monday’s match with Cheadle Town late on with a knee injury.
