We can confirm the departure of winger, Iyrwah Gooden, who has joined Bradford Park Avenue. The 24-year-old joined the club in the summer after leaving NCEL champions Emley. He made 25 appearances for the Shakers, scoring five goals, including a debut goal against Squires Gate in July. We’d like to place on record our thanks to Macauley Wilson, who has departed the club today by mutual consent. Macauley joined us from Bamber Bridge in the summer, with a wealth of experience. He made nine competitive appearances for the club, scoring once against AFC Liverpool. Living in the Blackpool area, he was travelling a distance to commute for training & matches and has car shared with fellow players who live in the area but given recent injuries to those players, it’s foun

Unfortunately, due to the change in circumstances of accommodating the Big Screen event at Gigg Lane this weekend for the Play-Off Final screening, the club have had to make the tough decision to postpone the Awards Day this coming Sunday. The event preparations have been underway for some time and we are very sad to have to make this decision at such short notice.
