We are offering free entry to our Armed Forces for our game against AFC Liverpool this weekend. Bury has a rich military heritage and as part of the club’s commitment to reaching out to all members of the local community, and building on Bury Council’s support which saw them awarded the ‘Gold’ award in the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, we are offering the opportunity to all serving personnel and veterans to be at Gigg Lane for our important game as the season comes to a close. Ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Barnoldswick, we have added two new players to the squad. Defender Louis Jeanne joins us on dual-registration from NPL side Wythenshawe Town. The 25-year-old played a massive role in their promotion last season and was a key part of the defensive unit that conceded the fewest goals in the league. Players, staff, and everyone’s favourite mascot, Peeler the Dog, will be out and about delivering gifts, match tickets, and festive fun this week.  The week began last night with a visit to Bury Ballers, where the team joined our young players. Today, the Shakers head over to our partnership club Unsworth FC, sharing the spirit of the season with local grassroots players.
