Bury Football Club can confirm the cancellation of Monday’s NWCFL Champions Cup fixture against Charnock Richard. A request was made to push the fixture back by 24 hours, resulting in the NWCFL’s unilateral decision to cancel the game. The refunding of tickets has begun. We are delighted to confirm the signing of striker Gabriel Johnson. The 28-year-old joins the Shakers after leaving Guiseley this summer. Many were impressed with his efforts as ‘Trialist B’ in the game against Chester last weekend and we are delighted to confirm he’s signed officially.
