Ahead of our trip and in line with the policing large crowds and events, the local constabulary in Douglas have been in touch to advise supporters on customs on the island during the period of Bury supporters visiting ahead and during our game against FC Isle of Man this weekend.

Supporters are reminded to be aware of the below points:

    • Segregation will be in place inside the stadium on the day of the game. Away supporters are requested to access the northern end of the ground only. Stewards will be on hand to guide supporters to the right areas.
    • Alcohol will NOT be available inside the ground and not permitted to be brought into the stadium. Please abide by this request and cooperate with staff at all times.
    • Laws on the island are different to those in the UK and the local police’s tolerance to public disorder is lower than that in the UK. Abiding to police instruction at all times is necessary. Arrests will be made where this is the case and this will lead to summons in court.

We wish supporters all a great time on the island during your visit, but please be aware at all times about the points above. We wish to leave a positive lasting impression on the island, and request and appreciate your cooperation in doing so.
