Bury Football Club can confirm a number of players will be leaving the Club at the end of the 2025/26 season.
Cameron Fogerty’s two-year association with the Shakers will come to an end this summer after making 86 appearances in white and blue.
The 22-year old joined in August 2024 and was a key part of the side that lifted the North West Counties Premier League and Northern Premier League West title in back-to-back years.
He notched 6 goals in his time at Gigg Lane, the first in the 7-1 win against Abbey Hey, as well as adding 8 assists.
As announced by himself on X, defender Scott Duxbury will also be saying goodbye. Two serious injuries limited his game time and he spent the last part of the campaign on loan at Hyde United, where he helped keep them in the Northern Premier League.
The other players that will be leaving this summer are Brad Carroll, Callum Spooner, Gavin Massey, Veron Parny and Jordan Lazenbury.
The latter joined the Shakers mid-season from Clitheroe and West Didsbury & Chorlton respectively and helped the team over the line to another promotion.
Callum Spooner and Gavin Massey both found their game time limited due to injuries with Spooner spending time on loan at Ashton United at the back end of the season.
Brad Carroll was recently on loan at Workington as he captained them to NPL survival and also spent time on loan at Clitheroe after he suffered a full rupture of his posterior cruciate ligament in his first season with us.
Elsewhere, we are pleased to confirm extensions to Bebeto Gomes and Owen Robinson, with Rustam Stepans, Bailey Sloane, Luca Navarro, Mitch Allen, Bobby Carroll and Oscar Threlkeld all signing new deals.
They join Aiden Walker, Louis Isherwood, Bailey Sloane and Connor Pye in extending their stay in BL9.
DJ Pedro has been offered a new contract with the Club and negotiations will continue.
