Our 2024 Bury Football Club Golf Day took place last Friday, and another successful event was laid on with the golfing experts (& some novices!) taking to the course for a day of competition and fun.
The event raised over £2,500 for the club on a sunny day at Pike Fold Golf Club. The course was in superb condition, matching the tremendous autumnal weather and had guests from 360 Vehicle Management Ltd taking the main prize, with a Stableford score of 99 after 18-holes.
We were delighted to welcome ex-Shakers Dean West, David Lee and Mark Patterson (shown right, l-r) on the event. In addition to the club funds raised, a kindly donated prize from Ageas for a box at the Royal Albert Hall to watch Cirque du Soleil raised a magnificent £1,000 which was donated to the Len Johnrose Trust.
The club wishes to place on record its thanks to the organising commitee, led by Mike Bailey, who worked so hard to put this event on. We also wish to thank all of our generous sponsors and raffle prize donors who contributed to the success of the day.
We can’t wait to invite everyone back in 2025. If you would like to join us next year, please get in contact by emailing our commercial department, on commercial@buryfc.co.uk.
