We can confirm the departure of forward Bryan Ly, who has joined Wythenshawe FC for an undisclosed fee.
Bryan joined us last summer from the club he’s returning to. He made 49 appearances in a Shakers shirt, scoring 16 goals. His energy, determination, and professionalism quickly made him a favourite among teammates and supporters alike.
The 22-year-old has penned this message for supporters:
“Dear Shakers, it’s with a heavy heart that I depart such a special club. From minute one you have made me feel a part of something that is honestly indescribable. I have loved every minute while wearing that famous badge on my chest.
“Due to different life commitments and priorities, myself and the club have come to an agreement it is the best decision for me to move on.
“I’d like to thank Dave and his team for bringing me to the club and trusting me to achieve the end goal, which was to clinch that title and play a part in the club’s history, which will stick with me for a lifetime.
“I want to wish the club, staff, players and especially the fans for everything during the past season.”

Manager, Dave McNabb added:
“Massive thanks to Bryan for his contributions to last season. He’s a fantastic young player and a great lad too. I’m sure he will continue to progress within the game. Good luck Bry.”
Everyone at the club thanks Bryan for his dedication and efforts in a memorable campaign, and we wish him every success in the next chapter of his football journey.
