Bury FC and Genus Recycling Extend Successful Commercial Partnership

Bury Football Club is delighted to announce the extension of its commercial partnership with Genus Recycling, further strengthening a relationship that continues to support the growth of football across the Club.

As part of the renewed agreement, Genus Recycling will continue as the official shorts sponsor of both our Men’s and Women’s First Teams for the upcoming season, maintaining a visible presence across two of the Club’s flagship sides.

In addition, we are proud to announce an exciting new community partnership that will see Genus Recycling become the front of shirt sponsor for our brand new U13 Girls team.

The new partnership reflects a shared commitment between Bury FC and Genus Recycling to investing in the future of the community, supporting opportunities for young players, and helping to grow the women’s and girls’ pathway at Gigg Lane.

The launch of the Under-13 Girls team marks another important milestone in the Club’s ongoing commitment to providing football opportunities for players of all ages, with Genus Recycling playing a key role in helping make that vision a reality.

Chris Watts, Head of Commercial & Media at Bury Football Club, said:

“We’re absolutely delighted to extend our partnership with Genus Recycling. They’ve been fantastic supporters of the Club, and it’s brilliant to see their continued commitment not only to our Men’s and Women’s teams, but now also to the next generation of female footballers through the sponsorship of our new Under 13 Girls side.

Partnerships like this go far beyond branding, they help us build sustainable pathways for players within our community. We’d like to thank everyone at Genus Recycling for their continued support, and we look forward to achieving even more together over the coming season.”

Rick Waterson, Director of Genus Recycling added:

“Genus Recycling are proud supporters of Bury FC and the Bury community that it represents.  We are delighted to renew our ongoing support of the team through the sponsorship of the shorts and looking forward to supporting Bury FC throughout the season.

Further, we are equally delighted to announce our sponsorship for the Girls Under 13’s team and the Bury FC summer camp.  We are honoured to be asked to be the main sponsors for the Under 13s girls’ football team and thrilled to be supporting footballers of the future in our great community.  It’s also great to hear that the Summer Football Camp is a hit and that we could help to fund this initiative, for the future footballers.

Looking forward to the new season UTS”

Everyone at Bury Football Club would like to thank Genus Recycling for their continued backing and belief in the Club. We look forward to building on this successful partnership both on and off the pitch as we continue to grow football across every level of the Club.
