On Tuesday, the celebrations continued with a visit to partnership club Unsworth Juniors FC. Players and Peeler handed out matchday tickets and spent time with grassroots players, reinforcing the importance of supporting local football and inspiring young people within the game.
Wednesday saw a special Sporting Memories session, where former Bury FC players Jason Jarrett and Wayne Entwistle joined participants for an afternoon of storytelling, questions and shared football memories. The session provided a meaningful opportunity to reconnect through the power of sport and shared experiences.
The focus turned to spreading Christmas joy and companionship on Thursday, as the team visited Bankfield Residential Care Home. Players spent time chatting with residents and staff, helping to bring warmth and festive spirit to all involved.
Christmas Giving Week concluded on Friday with a visit to Fairfield Hospital, where players handed out presents and spent time with patients and hardworking healthcare staff, offering moments of joy and appreciation during the festive season.
