Bury Football Club can confirm the cancellation of Monday’s NWCFL Champions Cup fixture against Charnock Richard.

A request was made to push the fixture back by 24 hours, resulting in the NWCFL’s unilateral decision to cancel the game.

The refunding of tickets has begun. TicketCo can take up to 30 days to issue refunds during busy times.

Tuesday’s friendly against Cheadle Town will go ahead as planned.

The club will make no further comment.
