Club Update – 17/06

The squad return for pre-season training this Saturday as preparations get underway for the new campaign.

As we look ahead to the season, the club can confirm that Toto Nsiala has left by mutual consent and, as reported earlier this week, goalkeeper Russ Saunders has also departed the club.

First Team Coach Craig Carney announced his departure from the club last week, with Lead Scout Darren Davies also departing Gigg Lane this summer.

Davies joined the club in September 2023 as part of Dave McNabb’s staff and was a key part of our back to back league title winning sides.

We would like to thank Toto, Darren, Russ and Craig for their contributions to Bury FC and wish them all the very best for the future.

Supporters can also look forward to pre-season content as preparations gather pace ahead of the 2026/27 season. As always, thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing everyone back together as preparations begin for another exciting season at Gigg Lane.
