Bury Football Club’s inaugural Corporate Cup at Gigg Lane delivered exactly what it set out to do: competitive football and a valuable networking environment for businesses across the region. Hosted at the historic Gigg Lane ground, the event brought together workplace teams in a lively, well-contested tournament.
The first edition ended with Water Engineering Services Ltd emerging as deserved winners, lifting the trophy after a series of hard-fought matches and closely contested final vs Jewsons. The standard on the pitch was matched by the atmosphere off it, with teams and partners making the most of the opportunity to connect away from the workplace in a professional football stadium. Sponsored by club partner ET Clay, the day set a strong benchmark for the rest of the Corporate Cup series.
