We are delighted to announce we picked up two awards at the North West Counties awards dinner in Blackpool on Saturday night.
Our matchday programme, The Shakers, won the Premier Division Programme of the Year award. A big thank you to programme editor, Chris Saville, and the team who contribute to pieces each week to make it best in the division last season. Our thanks also extends to our programme producer FootiePrint for meeting the often late deadlines, flexibility in dealing with frequent game re-arrangements and getting the high-quality printed copies to Gigg Lane for every game.
The club also picked up the quarterly Respect Award for February, March & April 2024. The award is based on marks given by member clubs to each other for things like the friendly welcome received at the ground, good hospitality, and the way dressing rooms are left at away fixtures as examples.
We are glad to have left a good impression on the clubs visited in this last quarter and thank them for their kind comments.
We would like to thank the players and all those behind the scenes for their work which went towards securing this award at the end of last season.
