Bury Football Club is proud of its strong connection with supporters and the wider community. We believe football should be welcoming, inclusive, and representative of everyone who calls Bury home.
Fans for Diversity is a campaign run by the Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) and Kick It Out, that promotes inclusion in football by supporting fan-led initiatives to welcome everyone, regardless of age, gender, race, religion, disability, or sexual orientation.
As part of this commitment, we are launching a Fans for Diversity group at Bury FC. This initiative aims to celebrate diversity, promote inclusion, and ensure that all supporters feel safe, valued, and respected on matchdays and beyond.
The Fans for Diversity group will provide a platform for supporters to have their voices heard, help shape a positive supporter culture, and work with the club to create a more inclusive environment for everyone.
Whether you’re passionate about equality, want to make a difference, or simply believe football is for all. We would greatly appreciate any support or resources you may be able to offer as we look to establish our first Fans for Diversity project.
First meeting: 12th February, 7pm
Location: Starkies Bar, Gigg Lane
Everyone is welcome!
