We can confirm that Gabriel Johnson has completed a move to Emley AFC.

Gabriel made 15 appearances in Shakers colours, scoring once in September vs Stafford Rangers at Gigg Lane.

Over recent months, the growing travel demands placed on Gabriel have made it increasingly difficult for him to attend training consistently and arrive on time for matchdays.

Following the recent birth of his child, Gabriel understandably expressed a desire to play closer to home to better support his young family.

Gabriel leaves with the club’s thanks for his efforts during his time at Gigg Lane and with our best wishes for the future.
