We are delighted to announce the signing of attacker Bryan Ly.

A familiar face to Shakers fans, the 20-year-old scored against us on Easter Saturday for Wythenshawe FC, he drops down a division to play in BL9 for the upcoming season.

Ly had near 50 goal involvements last season, scoring 32 and assisting a further 18.

In his first season, he scored 15 goals and assisted the same number.

He came through the ranks at Morecambe before plying his trade in the North West Counties.

Manager Dave McNabb is delighted to secure Ly for the 2024/25 season.

“Bryan is a player we’re all fully aware of from last season. He was far and away the best number 10 in the league last year with his numbers speaking for themselves with 32 goals and 18 assists.

His technical ability and his desire to receive the ball in any situation is what makes his stand out.

An excellent player but also a winner too who’s capable of dealing with the pressure and expectations of playing for Bury FC.”

    Welcome to Bury, Bryan.
