Pacey Winger, Iyrwah Gooden becomes Dave McNabb’s second summer capture and follows his team-mate Ruben Jerome to BL9 from NCEL Champions Emley AFC.

The pair notched up over 60 goals between them on their way to the title last term.

Iyrwah started out at Mansfield before joining Ramsbottom in 2019. The 23-year-old heads to Gigg Lane following spells at Warrington Town, Chester, Clitheroe, Workington & Worksop.

Last season, Iyrwah found the goal 23 times in a side that scored 102 goals and finished nine points clear at the top of the table.

Dave McNabb told buryfc.co.uk the following about our latest signing:

“Iyrwah is a direct wide player who has blistering pace. He’s direct and is excellent in 1-on-1 situations. His crossing delivery and final balls are exceptional, making him a real assist king. Iyrwah also has a keen eye for goal and we look forward to him contributing across both of these areas during next season.”

    Welcome to Bury, Iyrwah!
