The manager gave buryfc.co.uk his thoughts on Joe joining up this week:
“Joe’s a player I’ve admired for a long time. He’s quick and direct and gives us a different option across the top line.
“We hope this is another player who excites the supporters, and that those fans will get behind him, and all the team, in pursuit of the goals required to propel is forward.”
Joe also reacted to his move to up Bury from Cheshire:
“I am over the moon to have signed for Bury, ever since speaking to the manager it became an opportunity I could not turn down for several reasons.
“His ambition is one that matches mine and I cannot wait to be playing in front of the fantastic fans, who support the team in numbers week-in, week-out. Time to get together and achieve promotion.”
