Founded in 1903 as Emley Clarence FC, the Pewits had a string of successful seasons in the 1960’s, entering the FA amateur cup in the 1968-69 season.
The club joined the Yorkshire League in the late 1960s, winning three titles across the 1970s and 80s.
They reached Wembley in 1998, losing 1-0 in extra-time in the FA Vase final.
Emley also booked their place in the next round of the Emirates FA Cup on Wednesday night after beating Bishop Auckland 2-0 after extra time.
