After a late heartbreak at Nethermoor Park in midweek, Anthony Johnson’s side will be hoping to bounce back against Gainsborough Trinity this weekend.
The Shakers currently sit seventh in the table, leapfrogged by Guiseley in our first defeat of the season, while our opponents beat Stockton Town 4-1 midweek to climb to third in the table.
Bury will be buoyed by DJ Pedro’s excellent start to the season, and will hope he can continue his form in Lincolnshire this Saturday after having his red card overturned.
In Opposition – Gainsborough Trinity
Gainsborough Trinity were founded in 1873, becoming members of the Football League in 1893 and sitting in the second division until 1912.
They remain one of the smallest towns to have had a Football League team
The club were founding members of the Conference North in 2004, remaining at that level until 2018 when they were relegated to the Northern Premier League Premier Division.
The club has played at The Northolme since 1884.

This game is ALL-TICKET. Tickets are on sale until 12pm on Saturday and can be purchased from Gainsborough’s website. There will be no sales at the ground on the day.

Parking: Roadside parking is available around the ground, but this will obviously only be on a first come first serve basis. 2 local council car parks (Roseway & Tower Street) are located within a 2-minute walk of the ground.
Nearest Train Station: Gainsborough Lea Road, about 30 minute walk to the stadium.
