After a 5-1 win against Workington in the Emirates FA Cup, The Shakers return to cup action again this weekend as we take on Gainsborough Trinity in the FA Trophy Third Qualifying Round.
Anthony Johnson’s side have been in fine home form of late, scoring seventeen gals in three consecutive games at Gigg Lane and conceding only one.
The sides have met once this season, where Bury snatched a late winner courtesy of Bailey Sloane to claim our first away win of the season.
Gainsborough Trinity sit only three points behind Bury in the league, having won 3-0 against Leamington last time out.

Gainsborough Trinity were founded in 1873, becoming members of the Football League in 1893 and sitting in the second division until 1912.
They remain one of the smallest towns to have had a Football League team.
The club were founding members of the Northern Premier League (now the National League North) in 2004, remaining at that level until 2018 when they were relegated to the Northern Premier League Premier Division.
The club has played at The Northolme since 1884.
