Back-to-back away games for the Shakers as we travel to Nantwich Town on Tuesday evening. We head into this one off the back of Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Bootle.
Bury were forced to settle for a point after DJ Pedro’s equaliser and a missed penalty. Ben Hodkinson had given the hosts the lead before halftime, but despite second-half pressure, the Shakers couldn’t find a winner in Dave McNabb’s return to his former club.
The Shakers are looking for their first away win in four games, with the last coming in a 1-0 victory at Trafford on October 7th.
In Opposition – Nantwich Town
Nantwich Town have won once in their last four matches – a victory over Vauxhall Motors at the end of October – and earned a point on Saturday with a draw at Darlaston Town.
Former Shakers Aidy Roxburgh, Ben Hockenhull, Pat Jarrett, and Byron Moore are all part of the Dabbers’ squad.
This is Nantwich’s third season in the NPL West Division following 13 campaigns in the tier above.
