We head to Broadhurst Park, home of FC United of Manchester, this coming Tuesday 16th April to take on Padiham in our penultimate game of the season. Kick-off is 7.45pm.
The top-of-the-table really opened up over weekend, making our game in hand over the top two a crucial one. Two wins will win us the league. We want you there to cheer the lads on.
As indicated in our release yesterday, we are now able to share more details on how it will work.
Tickets & Admission
Tickets already purchased for the game, be that season tickets, hospitality tickets, general admission tickets or matchday programmes will all remain valid for this fixture.
Our matchday turnstile operators will be on hand to scan in your tickets as usual. We are working on the best solution for those with 1885 / hospitality tickets and hope to provide a separate update to those supporters on Monday following a meeting with FC United.
We will make tickets available to buy online on Monday, with capacity having now been confirmed at 4,900.
All tickets issued will be unreserved, with access available to all areas of the ground upon entry. The ground will be open from 6.30pm, with early arrival suggested for those who wish to be seated in the 500 available seats. We would appreciate supporters showing courtesy to those with greater difficulty standing.
Tickets will be on sale until 6pm on the day of the game, so to guarantee entry make sure you purchase your ticket in advance.
A pay-on-the-gate turnstile will be made available on the night, up to the available capacity.
Padiham supporters are requested to purchase away supporter tickets and upon arrival, stewards and staff will direct you to the correct turnstile. More details on this will follow ahead of the game on Tuesday.
Travel & Transport
FC United have provided their stadium Travel Plan, which is accessed here. As at Gigg Lane, the car park at Broadhurst Park will be made available for officials, players, staff and for those with mobility issues. To contact about this, please email here.
Parking for hospitality guests (1885 Suite ticket holders) as offered at Gigg Lane, will unfortunately not be available at Broadhurst Park and we apologise for this inconvenience.
Parking elsewhere is limited to the roadside along Lightbowne Road. Please do not park along St Mary’s Road or the streets accessed from there, which are to be saved for residents.
There are a number of public transport options including a local tram stop at Newton Heath & Moston (around a mile walk from the ground), train station at Moston (under a mile from the ground), as well as several bus services from Manchester which alight on St Mary’s Road close to the ground or along Moston Lane, which is a five minute walk away.
Please check out the details on timings of services before you travel here at Transport for Greater Manchester.
Recognising the impact this change of venue will have on some supporters who only travel locally, the club are putting on two coaches free of charge. This will be for those supporters who would otherwise struggle to get to the game at Broadhurst Park. These coaches will leave Gigg Lane at approx. 6pm on Tuesday evening, returning back to Gigg Lane after the game. Further details will be provided during Monday.
We stress that this offer should only be taken up by those who could not get to the game otherwise, giving all supporters the chance of being at the game.
Live Stream & Audio Commentary
As usual for all our midweek fixtures, a pay-per-view Live Stream broadcast will be available for all supporters unable to make it to Broadhurst Park. You won’t miss any of the action!
The stream will cost £6.99 (inc. VAT) and will be available on the day of the game.
Season ticket holders will be provided with free access to this Live Stream service, as part of their purchase. All will be contacted by email (used to purchase their ticket) ahead of the game, with the details on how to access the game digitally.
Click here to contact us if you haven’t received access previously and believe you should be doing.
There will also be live audio commentary provided by the team at Roch Valley Radio from 7.30pm. To access this via their website, click here.
We hope this answers the immediate questions supporters have. We thank you for your patience and understanding in dealing with this change at such short notice.
Further details will be released before the game.
