With two wins from two games, Anthony Johnson’s side make the trip to Runcorn Linnets this Saturday in a promotion six pointer.

Our last league meeting with the Linnets in early September ended in a 1-0 win courtesy of a second half Rustam Stepans goal.

The Linnets were formed in 2006 after Runcorn F.C. Halton resigned from the Northern Premier League. The club is now run by their Supporters trust.
They were promoted from the Northwest Counties Premier Division in 2017-18 with 100 points, have played in the Northern Premier League West since and won the Cheshire Senior Cup for the first time in May 2025.
