After our 1-0 win at Wythenshawe Town, we take top position and are leaders of the Northern Premier League West division. This week, for the fourth time lucky, The Shakers are back on the road to face Shifnal Town for a long-awaited clash with the team who currently sit eighth in the league.
This game was originally scheduled for Saturday 6th December but has since been postponed three times due to a waterlogged and frozen pitches at the Acoustafoam Stadium.
In Opposition – Shifnal Town
Shifnal is a Shropshire town about 4 miles east of Telford, and they are also in their debut season in the Northern Premier League after promotion from the Midland League at the end of last season.
Let’s hope the weather holds up and we can get across the line on Wednesday!
