After winning five consecutive home games, The Shakers are back on the road hoping to build on our fine form.
This time it’s a trip to the North East, where we make the 230 mile round journey to Stockton Town.
Unbeaten since the start of September, Antony Johnson’s side can take great confidence into our first away trip since 31st August.
In Opposition – Stockton Town
Formed in 1979 as a five-a-side team, Stockton Town first entered the 11-a-side game in 1981.
The club received a massive £1.4 million of investment in April 2008 to expand facilities.
In the 2016/17 season the side reached the Northern League Second Division for the first time, winning the league title and being promoted to ENL Division One.
The club reached Wembley in the Vase final in the 2017/18 season, falling short of glory in a 1-0 defeat.
Last season, they finished 5th in the Northern Premier League Premier Division – losing to eventual Play-Off winners Hednesford Town in the semi-finals – and this campaign currently occupy 20th position, with 2 wins from their 11 games.
