69 days after winning the Northern Premier League West Division at Atherton Colleries, the Shakers kick start their 2026/27 Season with a trip to local side Tottington United to start our pre-season campaign.
Anthony Johnson has lined up a mix of opponents to get us back into the swing of things and it all starts on Friday evening at St Anne’s.
With a busy schedule ahead of us, a Bury XI will feature in the game with the squad made up of first team players, U21s and trialists.

In Opposition – Tottington United
Originally founded in 1971 before being re-established in 2021, they are members of the Manchester League Premier Division after being promoted last season.
Totty also enjoyed cup success in the 2025/26 campaign as they lifted the Murray Trophy after beating Heywood St James 1-0 at Hyde United’s stadium.
On the Day & In the Ground
The game is being played at St Anne’s, with supporters able to locate the ground using the post code BL8 3LZ. Entry is priced at £5 per Adult with U16s able to get in for free. Both cash and card will be accepted as payment methods.
The £5 entry fee includes a raffle ticket where you can win a signed Bury shirt or a signed Bury match ball.
St Anne’s gates will be open from 6pm with drinks and food available in the ground.
