After a stunning comeback victory to collect our first three points of the season on Tuesday night, The Shakers hope to carry their fine form into Saturday’s meeting with Warrington Rylands.
Anthony Johnson’s side will be hoping to make the most of back-to-back home games against a Rylands side that lost at home to Lancaster City midweek.
Despite being early in the season, we sit just one point and two places ahead of Rylands. The midweek win boosted Bury to 6th.
In Opposition – Warrington Rylands
Founded in 1906, Rylands ground Gorsey Lane entertained local clubs such as Everton.
After 112 years as an amateur club, Rylands turned semi-professional in June 2018, winning Division One South of the North West Counties Football League in their debut season.
In 2021, the club won the FA Vase at Wembley, beating Binfield 3-2, with Elliott Neevitt bagging a hat-trick, managed at the time by former Bury boss Dave McNabb.
