    Bury Football Club is able to outline plans for staff and playing squad ahead of the 2024/25 season.

    The club can now announce the first stage of the summer developments with regards to player retentions from the current squad.

    The following players have been offered a new deal for next season and have accepted this:
     

    • Tanaka ‘Alex’ Cherera
    • Sam Coughlan
    • Max Harrop



    The following players have been offered a new deal for next season and are currently in discussions with the club around this:
     

    • Aaron Morris
    • Tom Moore
    • Gaz Peet
    • Andy Scarisbrick
    • Charlie Doyle
    • Declan Daniels
    • Benito Lowe
    • Billy Reeves
    • Connor Comber
    • Andy Briggs



    The following players have been offered a new deal for next season and but have declined this offer and will move on:
     

    • Oli Jepson
    • Harry Wright



    Players who were on loan have also returned to their parent clubs:
     

    • Keenan Ferguson
    • Ollie Kilner
    • Miles Storey

     

    All other remaining players have been released and will now leave the club:

    • Jacob Holland-Wilkinson
    • Arthur Lomax-Jones
    • Joe Maguire
    • Dean Pinnington
    • Anton Smith

     

    The club wishes to place on record its thanks to all players who contributed to the first season back at Gigg Lane, and wish those moving on, all the best with their future careers.


    Announcements on signings for the 2024/25 season will be made by the club when agreements have been reached with each player.

    Any players who sign contracts can be confirmed and announced as part of the squad immediately.

    Any new player registrations for the new season can only occur from 1st July, and therefore in most instances formal confirmation from the club on these signings can only follow after this date.
