Bury Football Club is delighted to announce a new multi-year partnership with ET Clay, who will become the official sponsor of The 1885 Suite at Gigg Lane.

As part of this exciting collaboration, ET Clay will also support the full refurbishment of The 1885 Suite, transforming it into a premium hospitality and events space that reflects the rich heritage of our club and the future we’re building together.

The newly refurbished suite will offer an enhanced matchday experience for supporters and guests, and provide a modern, multi-use facility for events throughout the year. This partnership is a significant step forward in our ongoing investment in the club’s infrastructure and community offerings.

ET Clay, a long-standing name in the brick and building materials industry, shares Bury FC’s commitment to quality, tradition, and community. We’re proud to be working with a company that understands the importance of legacy and local pride.

The partnership with ET Clay has also presented opportunities for the football club to partner with a number of other companies who will be contributing services and materials towards the refurbishment of the lounge.

Managing Director of ET Clay, David Blitz, and Janine Lynchey, from CPG Building Supplies said:

“ET Clay are proud to be working alongside CPG Building supplies in support of Bury FC. Both Brickability PLC companies have a strong connection to football and the local area and are excited for the forthcoming season and building a strong foundation with the club.

We are excited to support a local team that embodies the same values we stand for; hard work, determination and community spirit. Bury FC has so much history in this town and its important local companies get on board to support them climbing back up the leagues.

We have fantastic relationships with our Manufacturer partners who have got behind the vision and kindly offered their help and support.

We look forward to the season ahead and wish all Bury FC teams the best of luck, we will be cheering the shakers on and watching the community grow brick by brick.”

We are delighted to be working alongside CPG Building Supplies, the premier brick supplier in Bury, who are also a part of the Brickability PLC; Michelmersh, the UK’s premium producer of clay bricks; Blockleys, producers of wirecut facing bricks, clay pavers, and paving accessories; FP McCann, the UK’s largest Precast Concrete manufacturer and supplier; DAR Marble, a premium stone worktop fabrication company based in Manchester, and; BEWI, who have been developing new products in EPS for the construction industry since 1980.

Chris Watts, Head of Commercial at Bury FC, said:

“We’re absolutely delighted to welcome ET Clay on board as the official sponsor of The 1885 Suite. This partnership is about more than just branding – it’s a shared vision for the future of Gigg Lane and the experience we offer our supporters. ET Clay understands the importance of history, community, and long-term investment, and we’re excited to bring this project to life together.

We can’t thank David and Jan enough for their investment in us as a Club, as well as the partnerships that they have brokered with Brickability PLC, Michelmersh, Blockleys, FP McCann, DAR Marble, and BEWI, as part of the project”

Work on the refurbishment of the 1885 suite will begin on Wednesday 15th October, following our home league tie with Wythenshawe Town on Tuesday 14th.

Details of the re-launch will be announced ahead of our home league clash with Kidsgrove Athletic on Saturday 1st November.

🎉 Stay tuned for updates on the refurbishment progress.

Together, we’re building more than just a room, we’re building a future.
