Bury Football Club are delighted to confirm the signing of midfielder Daniel Adshead.
The 25-year-old brings a wealth of experience to Gigg Lane, having played in the EFL and National League during a career which began with Rochdale.
Adshead made his first-team debut for Dale as a teenager, going on to make 25 appearances before earning a move to Norwich City in 2019 for £750,000.
The midfielder spent time on loan with Dutch side SC Telstar, as well as Gillingham and AFC Fylde, before making a permanent move to Cheltenham Town.
Most recently, Adshead has featured in the National League with Boston United.
Along the way, he has also represented England at Under-18 and Under-19 level, scoring on his debut for both age groups.
Speaking on his latest addition, Jonno said: “Dan has been training with us for the last few weeks. He has got a brilliant pedigree in the game and has played at a good level. Today presents a great opportunity for us to have a really good look at him in a competitive fixture with the hope of securing him on something longer term.”
Daniel joins the club on non-contract terms and is available for selection for this afternoon’s FA Trophy tie against Gainsborough Trinity.
