We are delighted to confirm the signing of attacking player Kieran Glynn from Hereford.

The 27-year-old has largely played in the National League North but did achieve promotion from the Northern Premier League Premier Division in the one season he played in it with Scarborough.

Born in Oldham, Glynn started out at FC United of Manchester, before moving to Salford City. During his time at the Ammies, he spent loan spells at Chorley, Woking & Southport.

He joined Scarborough in 2020 and went on to spend three years on the Yorkshire Coast. After a spell with AFC Fylde, he returned to Scarborough the following year before making the move to Hereford, where he finished last season playing in the National League North.

Upon signing for the club, Glynn said:

“I’m buzzing to get the deal over the line. As soon as I heard a massive club with an incredible fan base like Bury was interested, it was a no-brainer for me.

“I can’t wait to put on the shirt and hopefully make the fan base adopt me as one of their own by putting in performances and trying to do my part to get this great club back to where it once was.”

Manager, Dave McNabb added:

“Kieran has spent his career to date playing in the National Leagues. He is a real technician, capable of paying in multiple roles in attacking areas and in midfield. He brings the ability to open up defences with his creativity and ability on the ball.”

Glynn’s signing is subject to NPL & FA approval.
