Following a North West Counties Football League Management Committee meeting held on 6th September 2023, we have been notified of the League’s intention to fine the club £100 and deduct three points for fielding a player contracted to another club. The club disputes this and is in the process of appealing to the Football Association. No sanctions will take effect until the appeal has been heard. We know supporters will be severely disappointed to learn that we might lose hard earned po

We have received various reports over the last few weeks of discriminatory language used at our Men’s first-team matches. Our message is simple. Discriminatory language has no place in our club. Our Safeguarding & Welfare Officer, Tania Jackson said: “Football is for everyone. Discriminatory language has no place in our club. We understand that this might come as a disappointment to supporters, but we have taken this decision in the best interest of the football club. View the full

The police will now be working through a process of identifying the people that encroached on the playing surface when we scored, and also the images on social media of fans fighting. Andy provided outstanding leadership throughout some difficult and turbulent times, not least during a global pandemic when just playing football was a challenge. In addition to winning a league title Andy quietly helped and supported many volunteers off
