We can confirm that the FCA have approved the amalgamation of the two Community Benefit Societies and the process will now begin to elect a new board to run the Football Supporters’ Society of Bury.   The timescale for nominations and voting will be issued soon, but we expect the process to conclude and a new board to be in place at some point in August. Following confirmation from the NWCFL this morning, we can confirm these fixture updates: Our game next Wednesday (30th October) against Litherland REMYCA has been postponed, due to our hosts progression in the County Cup. This fixture will now take place on Wednesday 4th December at 7:45pm. Our re-arranged visit to Irlam has also been postponed due to their involvement in the county cup on Tuesday 26th November. We have several fixture updates to update you on following our progression in recent cup competitions. Our originally scheduled league game for Saturday 24th August away at Litherland REMYCA, which had to be moved due to both teams being in FA Vase action, will now take place on Wednesday 30th October. In a recent, FSSB statement it was confirmed that we would be undertaking some work on our floodlights. We can confirm that this work will begin on November 19th. The works will not effect any of the footballing operations at the stadium, with all fixtures & pitch bookings going ahead as normal.
