Bury FC are delighted to confirm the signing of Arthur Lomax-Jones from Bootle for an undisclosed fee. The 19-year-old started at Tranmere’s youth setup before moving to Wigan in 2009 where he played through the ranks until Under 18s, where he then made the move back to Prenton Park. Bury Football Club can announce the arrival of a further two additions, as midfielder Billy Reeves and defender Tom Moore joined this week following their free transfer from Bootle. Both players joined McNabb at Bootle in the summer, alongside other new players Andy Scarisbrick and Charlie Doyle, and bring in significant experience from their time in the Northern Premier League. We are delighted to announce the signing of attacker Bryan Ly. A familiar face to Shakers fans, the 20-year-old scored against us on Easter Saturday for Wythenshawe FC, he drops down a division to play in BL9 for the upcoming season. Ly had near 50 goal involvements last season, scoring 32 and assisting a further 18. In his first season, he scored 15 goals and assisted the same number. He came through the ranks at Morecambe before plying his trade in the North West Counties.

The midfielder has played under Andy Welsh for the last two seasons at Bury AFC and has made 76 apps, including 55 league starts and scored just once against Widnes in the FA Cup last season.
