    Following discussions with organisers this week, we can confirm the cancellation of the Manchester Remembers charity football match at Gigg Lane on June 14th, 2025. As a club, we were honoured when Aaron & Paul approached us with the offer of hosting this year’s match, but circumstances beyond the organisers control mean the fixture won’t take place.     We are delighted to extend the contract of winger Connor Comber. The 23-year-old joined the club in August after leaving Atherton LR and signed a contract in December until the end of the 2022/23 season, which has been extended for a further year.
