The FA have given notice today, that Bury FC will compete in both the FA Cup & FA Vase during the 2023/24 season.   As a two-time FA Cup winning club in 1900 & 1903, we will enter the competition at the Extra Preliminary Round stage on Saturday 5th August.   The draw for which will be announced next Friday (7th July).   The FA Vase is the competition played between all the teams at Step 5 and Step 6 of the National League System. The competitive season is finally here! We welcome South Liverpool to Gigg Lane for our Emirates FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round tie. We had an outstanding run in the competition last season, reaching the Fourth Qualifying Round – before losing narrowly to Harborough Town. We have been drawn at home to fellow Northern Premier League Premier Division side Workington Town in the Emirates FA Cup Second Qualifying Round draw.
