We’d like to place on record our thanks to Macauley Wilson, who has departed the club today by mutual consent. Macauley joined us from Bamber Bridge in the summer, with a wealth of experience. A clinical second half showing by Mancunian Unity hands Bury their first defeat of the season. The first part of the game saw the two teams share even amounts of possession, with chances from outside of the box at either end being the only form of attempted goal scoring. Shortly after the 30-minute mark, Mitchell crossed the ball into the box from the left-hand side which hit the hand of Rachel Blythe, the referee then awarded Mancunian Unity a penalty for a handball.
