    Ahead of tonight’s game away at Abbey Hey, Dave McNabb has issued the following update on a number of players: Brad Carroll We’ve been dealt some bad news in the last week with the scan results coming back on Brad knee injury confirming that he has a full rupture of his PCL and is likely to be out for up to 6 months. Brad has been brilliant since he came to the club, fantastic performances on the pitch and a player who is highly respected and well thought of in the changing room.

    The Shakers have an early opportunity to bounce back from Saturday’s disappointing and rather tame home draw against Irlam when they travel to Gorton to face Abbey Hey on Tuesday.     We are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Cameron Fogerty The 20-year-old joins the club after leaving NPL side Witton Albion. He made 78 appearances for the club.     We are delighted to announce the signing of forward Lewis Alessandara The 35-year-old joins the club after playing for Hyde United this season. Born in Heywood, he came through the ranks of local side Roach Dynamos before joining Oldham Athletic. Morecambe, Plymouth, Notts County & Carlisle United are also amongst his former clubs.
