Jimmy arrived in Bury in 2020, amassing 85 appearances and six goals, as well as captaining the side on occassion. Everyone at the club was saddened to hear of the passing of another of our former players. Silky midfield general Jimmy Nicholson has sadly passed away at the age of 82. Jimmy was one of rookie manager Bobby Smith’s first signings in December 1973 and he knew that he could trust him, having been a team-mate at Manchester United.
