Alcohol sales at Gigg Lane will resume for this weekend’s visit of Glossop North End. Kiosks in the South Stand and Cemetery End, will serve alcohol alongside their range of soft drinks and hot food. Sales will end in the kiosks at the start of the second half. On the advice of our stakeholders, alcohol sales will be limited to TWO drinks per transaction. We can confirm the departure of striker Andy Briggs, who has signed for West Didsbury & Chorlton. Following a seven-day approach by West, Andy informed the management of his wish to leave the football club. The 26-year-old joined the Shakers in July 2023 from Steeton, and made 33 appearances for the club last season, scoring 25 goals.
