We’d like to place on record our thanks to Macauley Wilson, who has departed the club today by mutual consent. Macauley joined us from Bamber Bridge in the summer, with a wealth of experience. He made nine competitive appearances for the club, scoring once against AFC Liverpool. Living in the Blackpool area, he was travelling a distance to commute for training & matches and has car shared with fellow players who live in the area but given recent injuries to those players, it’s foun

We can confirm the departure of goalkeeper Tom Stewart.   The 28 year old joined the club in the summer from Lancaster City.      He made eight appearances, including two big FA Cup wins at Congleton & Avro.    We’d like to thank Tom for his contributions and wish him well for the future.  View the full article

Unfortunately, due to the change in circumstances of accommodating the Big Screen event at Gigg Lane this weekend for the Play-Off Final screening, the club have had to make the tough decision to postpone the Awards Day this coming Sunday. The event preparations have been underway for some time and we are very sad to have to make this decision at such short notice. However, the logistics of putting on a large additional event this Saturday, has diverted resource which would have knock-on effect

Our third pre-season fixture is just around the corner, and we’ll welcome NWCFL side Ashton Athletic to Gigg Lane on Tuesday night. We picked up our first pre-season victory against National League North side Chester, in a 3-1 win at Gigg Lane.
