Nicky Adams has announced his retirement from football. Adams has had a 22-year football career and will hang up his boots at the end of the season to take up a full-time coaching role.  He returned to Gigg Lane in December to take up a fourth stint with the club. Everyone at Bury Football Club is saddened to learn of the passing of our former player Tom Youngs at the very young age of 45.  Tom died yesterday, Sunday 4th May, having been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis back in 2014. Tom was an East Anglian man, born in Bury St Edmunds and began his career with a successful six-year spell at Cambridge United, where he played 150 league games, scoring 43 goals.   Such form brought a £50,000 transfer to Northampton Town in March 2003 and after three years
