Since the turn of the year, the club and weekly draw partners NYCDA have been busy behind the scenes on our ‘Treasureline’ partnership. This has seen us continue to raise awareness, source new membership and, very importantly, celebrating our successes. We were delighted to share some good news recently with long standing fan Diane Bohan and her family, who are all season ticket holders at the club. Bury FC have today agreed terms for the transfer of Veron Parny from Clitheroe FC. The 25 year old, originally from France, came to England to study in Manchester at 19 having started his career with AAS Sarcelles. Parny joined Clitheroe ahead of the 2023/24 season, having previously representing Wythenshawe Town. He has played 16 times for Clitheroe in the NPL West this season, scoring 7 goals, and goes straight into Anthony Johnson’s squad for Friday night’s clash with Lower Breck. View th

The Interim Board for the Football Supporters' Society of Bury would like to provide the following statement with regards an update of the ongoing election process.      The nomination period has now closed. All nominations have now been vetted to ensure they abide by the Elections Policy and Code of Conduct. As a result, we can now circulate the list of nominees and open the voting period as per the Election Policy. These will be issued separately to members by email from by Mi-Voice.  

On 8 November 2024 we confirmed the resignation of CEO and Club Secretary Neil Sears.  Neil’s contract of employment included a contractual notice period but we can now confirm that he will leave the club with immediate effect by mutual consent.   Neil has been absolutely integral in the delivery of several positive developments during his time at the club. The club has today received the resignations of both Phil Young (FSSB Chair) and Marcel De Matas (FSSB Board Member & Football Chair). Phil will not stand for re-election in the upcoming Football Supporters Society of Bury (FSSB) elections and will depart the club after over four years as chair, of first Shakers Community, and then FSSB from 2023. Current vice-chair Gareth Castick will assume the role, with support from all other members – Adam Ingram, Tania Jackson, Casey Lynchey, Jon Newby and Jon Wiggans alongside Interim Secretary Ian Coyle.
